STARR stands for Strategic Training and Recruitment Resources. We are a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities fulfill their dream of finding either PART-TIME or FULL-TIME employment.

Strategic training means that we work closely with your family member in order to discover their employment choices. We develop a job-matching sheet that helps determine their skills and main interests. Then we begin to search out companies that most closely meet the criteria desired. 

Once hired, we provide continuous training and support for as long as the family member remains employed. This is what we mean by receiving STARR TREATMENT.

Recruitment resources are the people with disabilities that make up about 20% of the United States population. 

Your family member is part of this group that can make a huge difference in the make-up of the American business environment.

So what type of jobs do family member’s fulfill? Just some include:
